Hi-Gest® 360 Alfalfa
Highly digestible alfalfa with lower lignin. Lignin is the organic compound that hardens and strengthens the plant’s cell wall. Lignin increases yield, but negatively affects forage quality and interferes with animal digestion. Hi-Gest still offers the high yield and a 7-10% reduction in total plant lignin, compared to conventional alfalfa.
